Sound of Music
We are planning a Sound of Music sing-a-long on March 14 at 6:30 in the Hapnot Theatre. There is no charge for the movie due to copyright laws, but we will be selling water and popcorn to help raise a little $ for the symphony trip to Winnipeg. If you want other snacks you are welcome to bring them. Anyone who wants to come is welcome, so bring your friends and family. Doors will open around 6:00.

The door will be kept open until 11:05.
If you are coming late please have someone wait at the doors to let you in.

Reminder that everyone will need a peasant costume for the first ACT of our Jan 21 Show and we will be wearing Black on Black for the second Act.We will be have a very short AGM at the beginning of rehearsal on Saturday. Reminder to committee members to bring report... verbal report is OK too. Not a big deal.The show is looking great! IT is going to be a lot of fun. Thank you everyone!Crystal

Photo Shoot
Calling all choristers! Calling all Choristers!
We are going to do a photo shoot for the FF Community Choir this SATURDAY ! December 10th
WHEN: We will end choir at 12:15 and head to…
WHERE: Phantom Lake Stage area for 12:30
WHO: Anyone in the CHOIR whether you are going to Mahler or not. If you know of people that are thinking of joining the choir for Mahler please get them to come as well!
WHAT to Wear: Well it’s winter so dress warm but everyone wear BLACK PANTS and your nicest Winter hat and scarves.
PROPS: Also bring a black binder just in case we want to try a prop shot.
PLEASE CALL YOUR FRIENDS SO THAT EVERYONE HEARS ABOUT IT IN ADVANCE

What to wear for symphony
I have spoken to the Executive Director of the WPG Philharmonic Choir and we have to wear the following attire for the performance:
Good morning Crystal, thanks for your note, we look forward to the performance as well!
Chorister attire will be as follows:
Men: Solid black Tuxedo(solid black suit may be substituted), solid white shirt, black bow tie, black shoes.
Women: Long black skirt or black pants, long-sleeve black top, black shoes. No short skirts or short sleeves.

Notes
NOTES FOR THE CHOIR:
1) We will be singing a couple of carols for the SENIORS CHRISTMAS PARTY on Nov 26th. Could everyone please bring their 100 Carols and their I’ll be Home for Christmas. I’ll have copies on hand as well. For newcomers to the Choir this is a great opportunity to wish a Merry Christmas to our Communty and our Seniors in particular. It isn’t a huge time commitment and will really put you in the Cjhristmas Spirit.
2) The Santa Parade is this Friday apparently. Anyone who would like to sing carols on the City of Flin Flon Float please meet at 5:45pm in the HB Exploration Parking Lot this Friday November 18th. It’s a few weeks earlier this year so that we hopefully won’t be singing in -25C. it’s always a lot of fun!
